Implementation Kit
The CDIO Implementation Kit ("iKit”) is an evolving set of materials that help you implement CDIO in your engineering education program. The iKit provides information, tools, models and templates to help your program(s) adapt and implement CDIO, and comply with CDIO Standards.
The iKit is intended for program leaders, faculty, and staff who are adapting and implementing CDIO.
The CDIO Standards are the organizing principle for the iKit, which is organized as follows:
CDIO as Context, which addresses Standard 1
Curriculum:
Standard 2 - CDIO Syllabus Outcomes
Standard 3 - Integrated Curriculum
Standard 4 - Introduction to Engineering
Workspace:
Standard 5 - Design-Build Experiences
Standard 6 - CDIO Workspaces
Teaching and learning:
Standard 7 - Integrated Learning Experiences
Standard 8 - Active Learning
Faculty Competence:
Standard 9 - Enhancement of Faculty CDIO Skills
Standard 10 - Enhancement of Faculty Teaching Skills
Assessment:
Standard 11 - CDIO Skills Assessment
Standard 12 - CDIO Program Evaluation
