Bill Litant is the communications director for the MIT Aeronautics and Astronautics Department and for the Partnership for AiR Transportation Noise and Emissions Reduction. He is also a communications strategist for the Commercial Aviation Alternative Fuels Initiative and the CDIO Initiative. A former print and broadcast journalist, newspaper publisher, and documentary and industrial filmmaker, he is a specialist in communications strategy, web development and usability, digital imaging, and aerospace communications. He is also an experienced restorer of vintage cars and motorcycles, and a trained steam vehicle (locomotive, traction engine, fire engine) engineer.
