SCOPE

This section of the CDIO iKit addresses two main goals:

• development and use of integrated learning experiences that lead to the acquisition of disciplinary knowledge, as well as personal, interpersonal, and product and system building skills (CDIO Standard 7 Integrated Learning Experiences)
• development and use of teaching and learning approaches based on active experiential learning methods (CDIO Standard 8 Active Learning)

These goals are consistent with the vision for Teaching and Learning within the CDIO Initiative:

The overall goals for the Teaching and Learning theme are to develop teaching methods that are based on concrete and hands-on learning, promote active learning and provide better feedback from student to teacher and from teacher to student.

This section is divided into four parts: benchmarking help, design and implementation help, challenges, and resources.
