CDIO at ISEP and Portuguese Engineering Organizations

The presentation describes the impact of CDIO at ISEP, focusing on the changes brought by CDIO to the Informatics Engineering Department and its under-graduate (LEI) and graduate (MEI) degrees. The LEI degree, started in 2006-07, was heavily influenced by ACM Computing Curricula and CDIO frameworks, recommendations and practices. All other ISEP degrees have been more or less influenced by concepts and practices which are proposed in the CDIO Initiative. Also professional engineering certification in Portugal is very much concerned with the adoption of CDIO compatible attitudes (a structured syllabus, design-build experience, etc.)...
