Brian Henson joined the School of Mechanical Engineering at the University of Leeds in 1992 as a Research Engineer.  He earned his PhD in 1999, and has been a Senior Lecturer since 2008.  His research interests include the contact mechanics and tribology of touch, and Rasch modelling for affective engineering.
